Relative Traces in Scattering Theory and the
Casimir Effect - Vortragender: Alexander Strohmaier, Leibniz Universität Hannover - Einladender: G. Lechner
Abstract:
I will explain several different trace formulae that appear in the
context of obstacle scattering theory. This will clarify the relation of the
famous Casimir effect to operator theory and the theory of partial differential
equations.
